When I first set out on this journey, I often felt lost and confused, lacking the guidance I desperately needed. Facing family resistance and the prevailing notion that mental health was only for crises, I had to forge my own path in a field that felt both exhilarating and isolating.
PsychSchool is my response to that early struggle—a platform designed to grow with me and with every mental health professional who feels the need for community, conversation, and authentic learning.
PsychSchool isn’t just a platform—it’s a living, evolving space built alongside my own growth as a psychotherapist.
Here, you’ll find groups, trainings, and dialogues that aim to fill the gaps I once faced, nurturing a space where emerging therapists can explore, grow, and redefine what it means to care for others and ourselves.
Pivot is a mental health platform designed for teens and young adults because we get it—this stage of life is a lot. Friendships shift, career pressure builds, family expectations weigh in, and somehow, you’re supposed to have it all figured out. At Pivot, therapy isn’t intimidating or complicated—it’s a space that actually makes sense for what you’re going through. Whether it’s stress, uncertainty, or just needing to vent, we’re here for you.
Pivot is made up of a team of young therapists trained at PsychSchool and in the developing stages of their practice. We believe that therapy works best when there’s connection, and sometimes, it’s easier to open up to someone who understands the world you’re living in. Our therapists aren’t here to just listen; they’re here to relate, to have real conversations, and to support you in a way that feels natural and comfortable. With fresh perspectives and up-to-date training, they bring both knowledge and relatability to the space, making therapy feel less intimidating and more like the support system it should be.
